Audio and Video Production

Melissa Dee

A graduate from the University of Surrey's Music and Sound Recording (Tonmeister) course, Melissa returned to the WoS team in 2013 after a successful placement year with them during her studies. During this time she has worked regularly as both an engineer and producer with a variety of groups such as The International Staff Band and Songsters, Foden's Band, Cory Band and the Central Band of the RAF. As well as studio sessions, Melissa is regularly involved in the recording of live events at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall. Melissa enjoys the wide variety in her work, maintaining the WoS website and social media accounts alongside a busy schedule of audio production.

Outside of work Melissa is involved in Girlguiding, running a local Rainbow unit as well as helping to organise countywide events. She plays touch rugby every week and is a keen cyclist and runner, taking part in parkrun when she can. Melissa also enjoys playing tenor horn with the local brass band and singing with the church choir when time allows.
